France, who lost their hope to become the champion by the last night's defeat against Japan, met Denmark who have been already relegated to Division II.
Latvia secured the 2nd place before this match, so France wanted to get the bronze medal at least.
But the match became very tough to France.
They could score only 1 goal from many chances and Serre, one of their key players, got injured during the 1st period.After all, it went into the Game Winning Shots and Henriksen of Denmark finished the game with the winning shot.
By this result, France have to wait for the bronze medal;
Czech will win the bronze medal if they win against Japan tonight at any conditions.
If they lose, France will secure the 3rd place.
