| <5/4/2007> Flash interview: Japan vs Norway |

Japan:
Koichi Sato, head coach:
According to our data, we normally play bad after a day off, so we tried to play hard in the beginning by early changes of lines.
It worked very well and for that I am glad.
Norway has similar play style as that of Japan, every player defend hard and every player try to score, so we thought it would be a tough game.
Our GK performed well and our DF and FW played with good concentration, that is why we did not concede any goal.
For the next two games, we will not change our style; we try to defend well and to score the first goal. |

Norway:
Jan Petter Nagel, head coach:
We did not play so bad, but Japan was much stronger than us.
But still it was not so bad that we conceded only three goals out of fifty-seven shots on goal.
I am satisfied with our performance.
We will do our best for the next two games.
