Are you interested in what the head coaches and players of Japan and Denmark said after the match? Please read the following.
Japan:
Koichi Sato, head coach:
In the beginning, we had difficult time as we did not have enough information about Denmark.
But from the 2nd period to the end, we could play better and also adjust mistakes we made in the last match against France.
I am satisfied with the fact that we could score in power play.
We did really good preparation for the opening of the event. |
Chiaki Yamanaka:
In the beginning we did not play with our own rhythm, but from the 2nd period, we played really well. Hat-trick was just lucky.
We keep us fit physically as well as mentally for the opening of the event. |

Denmark:
Laura Mackenzie, head coach:
We could surprise Japan in the 1st period.
Nobody would have thought we could play so well. But Japan was more experienced and that is why Japan could dominate the game in the 3rd period.
But we know now that we can play with them well even though we are younger and less experienced.
What we need is that we must just continue to play well for 60 minutes, not 40 minutes. |
