Are you interested in what the head coaches and players of Japan
and France said after the match? Please read the following.
Japan:
Koichi Sato, head coach:
One of the good results was that we could kept France
no goal. By good pressing, we did not give any space for them to move. Also our Defence men could made shoots a lot and from these attacks we could score. That gives us a lot of confidence. But we should communicate each other more and keep concentration
for 60 minutes. The next test match, against Denmark, is for us the last test
match, so I hope we will perform better than today. |
Yoko Kondo:
We could score more. In the beginning we somehow
forgot our own rules and later remembered them. We must not do that. |
Ayano Ichijo:
I was really concentrated in the game and full
of energy from the warming up. My personal record, 1G2A, is for myself a big surprise.
I will consider the next match against Denmark is also serious one and play with
full of concentration. |

France:
Kristine Duchamp, head coach:
I am a bit disappointed because of the score, especially
the last goal was just 10 seconds to the end. Our players were a bit nervous because
we played with mighty Japan, especially in the beginning they were very nervous.
But it was a good test for us. We knew that Japan is a strong team and through
this game we learned a lot. For the next test match, against Latvia, we will adjust
some points such as pressing. |
