Yesterday France National Team did their first training at Nikko Kirifuri Ice Arena.
They started to train at 9:00 pm, 1 hour later than it was originally planned.
They seemed not to be bothered by the jetlag, did very intensive trainings, such as shoot training, 2 on 1 and 4 vs 4.
French can play very organized, though they are very young (mostly between 16 and 20 years old), thus they would be very dangerous for Japan who will play a test match with them on 28 March. |
Christine Duchamp, head coach of France:
“It is the first world championship for this team, so I am very excited like our players.
Our team is very young, but in this division there are not so big difference in quality, so we may say that we also have a big chance.
I hope we will get good results and nobody will be injured during this event”. |
